We begin with a complimentary conversation about your home, the problems you want to solve, the ideas you are considering, and the investment you are comfortable making. We discuss your dreams, look at your space, ask questions and then brainstorm with you.
Define the Scope and Budget
Next, we develop an initial scope of work and rough estimate. This stage helps everyone understand what the project may include, what factors could affect cost, and whether the overall plan fits your priorities before deeper design work begins.
Design and Select
Once the direction is established, we refine the structural changes, layout, details, and materials. Preferred suppliers help with cabinetry, flooring, tile, fixtures, and other finishes. Subcontractors are brought in to assess options or concerns with mechanicals such as plumbing, HVAC and electrical.
Prepare for Construction
Plans are finalized, materials are ordered, trades are coordinated, and permits are secured. We review the schedule and discuss how the work may affect daily routines so you know what to expect before construction begins.
Build and Communicate
During construction, TLC coordinates the work, monitors progress, addresses questions, and keeps you informed. Remodeling can be disruptive, but clear communication and clear expectations make the experience easier.
Complete the Details
As work wraps up, we complete the finishing details, clean the space, and walk through the project with you. Our goal is not only to complete the work, but to leave you with a room that feels finished, functional, and worth the investment.
